I graduated from the Redken Academy, Colorado Springs, in 2007. I became a hairdresser because I love to be inspired and challenged every day! The education and opportunities that Cutting Loose is incredible. The positive, family-oriented, and best of the best atmosphere is why I wanted to work here.
What part of hairdressing do you love the most?
Creating tousled, lived-in looks! I achieve this through styling, (curling, beach waves, etc). I also love blonding. Balayage is my favorite!
What about the industry that fuels you?
That it always keeps me “fresh” and in with the latest fashion. The relationships I make with my guests are so special and important to me! I love making people feel beautiful and confident! I like getting my guests out of their comfort zone, whether with a simple style change or a new, fun color!
What is a fun fact about you, or something that you would want potential new guests to know?
I recently completed my certification to teach hot yoga, in Costa Rica!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
Yoga, being in the kitchen making some healthy vegan meals, going to the beach.
What are your top achievements as a hairstylist?
- Getting to be a senior stylist.
- Winning a contest and getting to go to NYC to take a hands-on cutting class.
