I have been doing hair since 1981. I am from the U.K. and when I moved, I took additional hours at Manatee Technical Institute to get my license in the United States. It was then, that I learned about Coral Pleas and the Cutting Loose Salon opening. I love that I have been a part of the salon’s journey from the start and how well education is executed in our programs.

What part of hairdressing do you love most?
I love cutting short, sassy, funky haircuts and creative colors! It is fun to go out of the box and be creative. in addition to the funky haircuts and color I also enjoying doing perms.
What about the industry that fuels you?
I love it when I make someone feel “on top of the world” with her new haircut and color. I love to inspire confidence at any age. Just because we are mature ladies, doesn’t mean we can’t be a little sassy!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
I love to work out at my spin class, travel and socialize.
What are your top achievements as a hairstylist?
I have done photoshoots for magazines in, both, the U.K and US. I cut with French and English techniques!
