I attended Creative Images in Dayton OH. When I was young I was a very artistic person. I forced my mother to take me to the salon so I could smell the aromas and scent of perm left in the air. Yes, I said it I enjoy the smell of perms because it brings back that nostalgic time and memories I got to share with my mother. I have always been drawn to Chemistry and Anatomy, but I still had a very artistic side.

One day my mother took me to lunch and asked me what I thought about being a Hair Colorist.. I responded “I think it would be an enjoyable career”. She responded “Good we have an appointment at Creative Images in 15 minutes”, and now I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of the best hairstylists in the industry, Work backstage for companies like Joico, Matrix, and Paul Mitchell and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

What part of hairdressing do you love most?

I adore the consultation. It is the first moments you get with your guest. They are excited, you are excited. You get the opportunity to create magic everyday. You get the opportunity to inspire your guests everyday. You get to hold your guest during the not-so-best parts of their lives. I love being a Hairstylist because beyond being able to create magic in their lives you get to join their family and create long-lasting friendships. My guests are not just guests they are my family.

What about the industry that fuels you?

Education hands down! I love to travel and meet new people. Getting up on stage and teaching or sitting in the crowd and learning either way being able to teach or being tough fills my soul.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am a huge Nerd… Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney. Let’s get nerdy!

What do you love to do in your spare time?

I enjoy being active and bodybuilding. I enjoy trying new restaurants, meeting friends at a local coffee shop, Cozying up and reading a book, Going to the beach and listening to live music or playing volleyball, and Going to Disney world for the afternoon.

What are your top achievements as a hairstylist?

Getting to work backstage at a variety of hair shows. My future goals are to: Become a Goldwell Color Ambassador Win a Naha Award, and Become an American Board Certified Colorist.
