At Cutting Loose Salon, education and creativity are at the heart of everything we do. While our guests see the beautiful finished looks every day, we also believe it’s important to step outside the salon and challenge ourselves artistically.
This month, we’re excited to collaborate with two incredible local boutiques—RAREBIRD and RAREBREED—for an editorial-inspired fashion photoshoot celebrating timeless style, craftsmanship, and creativity.
RAREBIRD and RAREBREED are known for curating thoughtfully selected collections that embrace individuality, quality, and intentional fashion. Their commitment to slow fashion and timeless style aligns beautifully with our philosophy of creating customized hair that enhances each persons unique beauty. Together, we’re telling a story of complete style—from fashion to hair—with an emphasis on confidence, authenticity, and artistry.
Capturing this vision is renowned photographer Tom Carson, someone Coral has had the privilege of working with for more than 30 years.
We wanted a relaxed boho-inspired setting that would complement the hair , fashion and overall creative direction. We had pieces from So Staged to help set our stage.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Carlos Alvarez, Goldwell National Artist and editorial stylist. Carlos is a finalist in both the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) and the Kao Salon Global Creative Awards, where photographic artistry and innovative hair design are celebrated on an international stage.
Leading the creative vision is our own Charlene Culp, Artisan Stylist, who envisioned the overall theme: Modern Chic Boho.
Twelve of our Master Stylists will work together to create 14 unique looks on seven models, showcasing the talent, versatility, and passion that define our salon culture.
Projects like this allow our team to stretch creatively, collaborate with talented professionals in our community, and bring fresh inspiration back behind the chair for our guests.
